[Video] Militracks 2019 – Panther in action

As promised, here is a video of the Panther at Militracks. It shows the Panther starting its engine and driving around a bit on the museum premises. The Panther from Saumur runs noticeably smoother than the Königstiger from the same museum which was present at Militracks last year. In contrast to the Tiger II last year the Panther does not require any additional hand cranking to start the engine. Also note how smoking hot the engine bay has gotten at the end of the video. For photos and more about Militracks 2019 be sure to check out my previous post. Without further a due, here is the video. Enjoy!

Just discovered your site and glad I did as I am a German WW2 tank enthusiast as well. Could you do an article (History, provenance, status of restoration and walkaround) of the Full Museum Tiger 2? http://www.koenigtiger.ch

Great to hear you like the content! Unfortunately, I’ve not been to see that Tiger II yet, but I’ll certainly add it to my to-see list 😉
