This site will be a place for “panzer”, hence the name
Beside tanks’ their main purpose of being an effective weapon on the battlefield, they are on the cutting edge of technology. They incorporate the latest and greatest technological know-how of their era. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by tanks. Not only because of their appearance, but also because of this technological aspect. Through the years I’ve photographed tanks of all shapes and sizes part of museum collections from all around Europe. On this blog I will share my interest for these big, bulky, heavy machines not only through the photos I take, but also by sharing some of the history and interesting facts about them.
This blog was originally founded March 2015. Due to an unfortunate course of events the original site was lost in late 2016. In July 2017 the site was relaunched on the panzerplace.eu domain.
